Meratus with the Ministry of Transportation, Distributes Thousands of Sembako during Ramadan.

Meratus, as a leading logistics and maritime integrator in Indoensia, together with the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation, distributed thousands of sembako packages for low-income communities (MBR) and loading and unloading workers (TKBM) around the ports of Jakarta and Surabaya. Hopefully, this donation package can be helpful amidst the increasing prices of necessities in this month of Ramadan.

This activity is one of Meratus For Indonesia's CSR programs with the spirit of #DeliveringHope for Humanity. Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi participated in providing food items symbolically. The thousands of sembako packages were handed over to the Surabaya City Government, Tanjung Perak Port Authority, Tanjung Perak Main Harbormaster, Tanjung Priok Port Authority, Tanjung Priok Main Harbormaster and the Cilandak and Gambir Marine Corps.

"The Holy Month of Ramadan is a good moment to share and care for others. Hopefully, this basic needs packages can ease the burden for those who are still struggling so they can share the joyous atmosphere until the time of Eid al-Fitr," said Slamet Raharjo, Director of Corporate Communication Meratus.
